PASAY CITY, PHILIPPINES - New EV tech was on display at the SM Mall of Asia Arena as XPENG officially staged its Philippine market debut. Renting out a major arena venue for an automotive launch signals a clear attempt to disrupt the status quo, and XPENG delivered the flashy presentation.

XPENG Philippines enters the market directly as a wholly owned subsidiary of XPENG Motors, establishing full control over its local sales, service, and infrastructure expansion.

The presentation extended beyond passenger vehicles to highlight XPENG's broader "Physical AI" ecosystem. Anchoring the tech demonstration were live displays of the XPENG X2 eVTOL Flying Car and the IRON Humanoid Robot. Joining the executive team on stage, Philippine media personality Anne Curtis was formally announced as the brand’s local ambassador.
