Profender Series X Plus: Another Suspension Brand Introduced
The local suspension market just got a bit more crowded with the official launch of the Profender Series X Plus. The event at The Vibe Bar in Quezon City was heavy on influencer presence and "lifestyle" branding.
If you think you have heard this brand name before, yes, the Profender name was synonymous with the 4x4 off-road scene in Thailand since the 1970's, and is now making a deliberate push into the Philippine market for non off-road commuter motorcycle use.

The Specs:
(According to the very brief PR document they sent us)
The Series X Plus builds on the existing X-Series with a focus on "rider-focused innovation." The key selling points provided include:
- 16-step damping adjustment (Compression and Rebound).
- Ride-height adjustability for "better ergonomics".
- Premium shock configuration aimed at "real-world" conditions.
- Progressive springs intended for both solo commuting and touring
- Note: There is no price list or name of the distributor.
The Comparison: Credentials Matter
In the world of suspension, you usually pay for a "pedigree." When you invest in Ohlins, Showa, or even YSS, you are paying for decades of data gathered from MotoGP, WSBK, and ARRC. These brands have "bled" on the tarmac to refine their valving.
Profender’s motorcycle suspension brand leans less on the performance side and more on the high-end accessory kit.
