Philippine Motorcycle Tourism Forum Convenes in Manila

The Philippine Motorcycle Tourism (PMT) Forum took place today at Lanson Place Manila, focusing on the development of motorcycle tourism in the country. The event, organized by the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) and Department of Tourism (DOT), included a morning session on policy and trends; stories and from guest speakers; followed by an evening anniversary celebration.
Raymon Gabriel, founder of the Breakfast Ride Community, invited attendees to the forum, which drew participants from adventure clubs, sponsors, riding organizations, DOT and TPB officials, media, and vloggers.
Morning Session
Registration began at 10:00 a.m. The opening program started at 11:00 a.m., with welcome remarks from Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles, Chief Operating Officer of the TPB.
Shahlimar Hofer Tamano, Chief of Staff and Undersecretary for Tourism Regulation, Coordination, and Resource Generation at the DOT, delivered the keynote address.
Joey Ermita, co-founder of the Breakfast Ride Community discussed the motorcycle tourism ecosystem.
Rožle Verhovc, Founder and CEO of Clutch Moto Tours, spoke on trends and best practices in motorcycle tourism.
Karen Grace Kennedy, BMW Motorrad Ambassador and TWTMoto representative, addressed women in motorcycle tourism.
A Q&A session ran, followed by closing remarks.
Evening Anniversary Event
At the PMT 4th Anniversary Celebration Riders' Night, attendees wore white attire for unity and solidarity, along with upcycled clothing to display resourcefulnees and sustainability.
The opening program started at 6:30 p.m. Arnold T. Gonzales, Acting Head of the TPB's Domestic Promotions Department and gave welcome remarks.
Teresita de Luna Landan, Acting Head of the Office of the Deputy Chief Operating Officer for Marketing and Promotions at the TPB, delivered the keynote address.
Senator JV Ejercito provided a special message to the attendees.
Sales pitching by international and local motorcycle event organizers took placeduring the sumptous hotel dinner.
The forum aims to promote motorcycle tourism as a sustainable sector, enhancing economic opportunities through rider-focused initiatives.
