Nostalgia and Speed: Spyder Unveils "Ghost Fighter" Collection at IRBF 2026

Last Saturday at the Inside Racing Bike Fest, I caught up with my old biker friend Mark Chuidian, who is now (again) the marketing consultant for Spyder Philippines. He invited me over to their booth for a first look at their latest lineup, and since I was already at the World Trade Center covering the different brands, the timing couldn't have been better. The Spyder display was impressively vibrant and well-organized, definitely one of the standouts of the show. Thanks for the invite, Mark!

The Spirit of the 90s

The centerpiece of the exhibit was the official launch of the Spyder x Ghost Fighter Series. For many Filipino riders in their 20s to 40s, Ghost Fighter (Yu Yu Hakusho) is a massive cultural touchpoint from the 90s, and Spyder has tapped into that nostalgia with a licensed collection featuring five iconic characters: Eugene (Yusuke), Vincent (Hiei), Dennis (Kurama), Alfred (Kuwabara), and Toguro.

The collection is a spread across six different helmet shells, including full-face, open-face, and modular options like the Armada, Rogue+, and Icon. Each design comes in two primary colourways: a sleek black base with coloured graphics or a white base with high-contrast black and white art, available in both matte and glossy finishes.

Technical Specs and Pricing

Beyond the anime aesthetics, the new lineup meets modern safety standards. Highlights from the series include:

  • Spyder Armada (Hiei): A full-face shell featuring ECE 22.06 certification, dual visor technology, and an included large aerodynamic spoiler. Prices start at ₱4,395.
  • Spyder Rogue+ (Yusuke): A dual-certified (ECE/DOT) full-face helmet with jet-inspired vents and an intercom-ready design. Prices start at ₱4,295.
  • NEO Icon (Kurama): A modular option for those who prefer versatility, featuring a smooth mechanism and aggressive spoiler. Prices start at ₱4,395.
  • Neo Blade: A more accessible half-face model featuring graphics of the entire cast. Prices start at ₱3,295.
    Beyond the Collaboration

While the Ghost Fighter series stole the spotlight, Spyder also showcased several new performance models for 2026, including the NEO Ace 2 hybrid helmet (₱3,695), the Spyder Sigma full-face (₱3,995), and the Spyder Hex 3 dual-sport helmet (₱4,895), which comes with a free camera mount for adventure riders.

The Spyder Ghost Fighter collection and 2026 lineup are now rolling out to authorized dealers and Spyder's online platforms.
