MV Agusta Introduces: Sartoria Meccanica Customization Program for Its Motorcycle Range
MV Agusta (October 2025)

Varese, Italy – October 25, 2025 – MV Agusta has announced the launch of Sartoria Meccanica, a new in-house customization service designed to offer riders personalized modifications across its entire model lineup. Described as an atelier for bespoke motorcycles, the program emphasizes collaboration between customers and the brand's design team to create one-of-a-kind machines without predefined limits, subject to technical and regulatory feasibility.

The initiative operates out of MV Agusta's Centro Stile at its historic Schiranna headquarters, where engineers and stylists work directly with clients through consultations rather than digital tools. This approach allows for tailored adjustments in areas such as color schemes, graphics, materials, and components, drawing on the brand's heritage of Italian craftsmanship and engineering.

Sartoria Meccanica is structured into three tiers to accommodate varying levels of personalization:

  • Essenziale: Focuses on exclusive color and graphic schemes, saddle material selection, and unlimited graphic options.
  • Ricercato: Expands to include customization of structural elements like the frame, swingarm, and triple clamp, along with wheel choices.
  • Iconico: Provides full bespoke treatment, incorporating high-performance upgrades, one-off technical solutions, a matching custom helmet, and a personalized paddock stand.

Materials available include carbon fiber, titanium, billet-machined aluminum, and premium leathers, with hand-finished details such as stitched saddles and CNC-machined parts executed by Italian artisans. Each completed motorcycle receives a certificate of authenticity and a Sartoria Meccanica plaque, denoting it as a unique creation, while retaining the standard five-year factory warranty.

Press images accompanying the announcement highlight the MV Agusta Superveloce 1000 RS as an example of a customized model under the program, showcasing graphic and material enhancements.

Luca Martin, CEO of MV Agusta Motor S.p.A., commented on the rollout: “At MV Agusta, our customers are at the heart of everything we do. Sartoria Meccanica reflects our commitment to delivering not just exceptional motorcycles, but truly unique experiences tailored to each individual’s passion and vision. It is an honour for us to collaborate with our customers in creating one-of-a-kind machines for those who want to turn their motorcycle dreams into reality.”

Details on pricing and availability for the Sartoria Meccanica program were not disclosed in the announcement. The service represents MV Agusta's latest effort to cater to enthusiasts seeking exclusivity in the premium motorcycle segment, building on the brand's reputation for design-driven models.
