ETC: Daquigan's Gritty P7 Caps Memorable European Talent Cup in Catalunya
Montmeló, Spain – November 2, 2025 – Filipino sensation Alfonsi Daquigan fired a statement shot in the European Talent Cup with a hard-fought P7 at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, channeling session-by-session gains into a performance that signals big things ahead in the season's stretch run.

Riding for the Junior Talent Team aboard a Honda, the 16-year-old from the Philippines charged competitively from the weekend's outset in Group B, posting a standout Qualifying 2 lap of 1:52.057 to tee up his podium bid. Daquigan's Montmeló mastery – his best result of the 2025 campaign – vaulted him to 26th overall with 8 points, cementing his status as only the second Filipino to compete in the ETC after Troy Alberto's trailblazing 2018 wild-card rides.
The Junior Talent Team's weekend was electric, crowned by teammate Muhamad Kiandra Ramadhipa's razor-thin P1 triumph – edging Carlos Cano and Yaroslav Karpushin by a mere seven thousandths of a second in a thriller for the ages.

"Heatin uppp RACE - P7," Daquigan shared on Facebook, buzzing with pride. "Happy with the race today in Montmeló, I managed to be competitive from the start of this weekend and took big steps every session. Now we are moving forward and ready for the future. Thanks team @juniortalentteam. Congratulations to all my teammates and @mk.ramadhipa212 for the win – let’s show them more next time. Thank you to everyone that supported me."
With the Valencia finale looming on November 23, Daquigan's #pushveryhard fire is blazing brighter than ever. What a weekend for the Junior Talent Team – and a perfect launchpad for Alfonsi's last ETC charge. Onward!
