Yamaha's booth lit up EICMA today with the 2026 YZF-R1 70th Anniversary Edition – a cosmetic homage to seven decades of racing heritage, wrapping the liter-class superbike in classic blue/white speed block livery. It's an optional upgrade on the refined 2026 R1 platform, blending timeless style with track-honed tech. US MSRP: $19,199 base, +$500 for anniversary kit; EU ~€19,000. Dealers from March 2026.
