Yamaha's booth lit up EICMA today with the 2026 YZF-R1 70th Anniversary Edition – a cosmetic homage to seven decades of racing heritage, wrapping the liter-class superbike in classic blue/white speed block livery. It's an optional upgrade on the refined 2026 R1 platform, blending timeless style with track-honed tech. US MSRP: $19,199 base, +$500 for anniversary kit; EU ~€19,000. Dealers from March 2026.

Booth draw: The anniversary R1 joins R7/R3/R9 siblings in retro garb, drawing crowds for photo ops amid carbon aero demos.

Booth focus: Anniversary R1 shines alongside R7/R3/R9 in retro colors; interactive IMU demos and carbon aero displays pull crowds.
