CFMOTO dropped the 1000 MT-X at EICMA today, scaling up the 800MT-X formula with a 946cc parallel-twin for serious adventure cred. Premium Brembo brakes and KYB suspension meet Euro V+ compliance. Early online hype positions it as a BMW GS challenger from China.

Key specs:

  • Engine: 946cc liquid-cooled inline-twin, DOHC, 8 valves; 83kW (111 hp) @ 8,500 rpm, 105 Nm @ 6,250 rpm; 13.5:1 compression.
  • Transmission: 6-speed wet multi-plate slipper clutch.
  • Chassis: Aluminum double swingarm rear; 48mm fully adjustable KYB USD forks (230mm travel high seat/190mm low); KYB monoshock rear.
  • Brakes: Brembo radial dual 320mm front discs, twin-piston 260mm rear; Bosch cornering ABS.
  • Wheels/Tires: 21-inch front (90/90 Pirelli STR), 18-inch rear (150/70 Pirelli STR); TCS (3-mode adjustable).
  • Electronics: 8-inch TFT dash, optional T-Box; LED lights with DRL.
  • Dimensions: 2,288mm L x 945mm W x 1,426-1,476mm H; 1,525mm wheelbase; 830/870mm seat height; 22.5L tank; 222kg curb weight.
  • Colors: Zephyr Blue, Tactical Green.

Pre-launch YouTube buzz calls it a "three-cylinder powerhouse" in rumors, but today's twin reveal has riders tweeting "value king for 1000cc torque." ADV forums eye it vs. KTM 890 – lighter, cheaper off-roader? Launch: EU Q2 2026. Your thoughts?
